The school is oversubscribed. The school is a Maths, Science and Computing college.[2] It is situated just north of the A410, accessed via Masefield Avenue. To the north is Bentley Wood Nature Reserve. It lies in the parish of All Saints, Harrow Weald.
The school is just south of Heriot's Wood, which is itself just south of the famous Bentley Priory, and was originally called Heriots Wood Grammar School.
It gets very good GCSE results, and it's A Level results have improve drastically since 2007.
